But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let, not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

When we pray with expectation, we are praying in faith.   The faith-filled prayers of people walking with God produce results, and the most honest prayers always seem to happen in those times when we realize how much we truly need God.  Sometimes when we pray for what seems impossible like a broken marriage to be restored, or an addiction to be arrested,  or to find the perfect location for a three-year-old church in a sky-high real estate market, our natural tendency is to withdraw.  We forget nothing is impossible with God. Just look at what God has done for Zeal.  When we stand firmly on promises like that, we can pray in a way the bible refers to as “unwavering in our faith.”  James reminds us of fear and faith are actually incompatible because God never waivers.  Today, all across church life, let’s pray for whatever we need with UNWAVERING FAITH knowing we can trust Him entirely.

Lord, help us to stand firm.  Help us to remember our faith please you.  Fill our hearts with confidence that knows you can and will do the impossible.  Help us to glorify you today and every day with our unwavering faith.
